Burrard Street McCarter & Nairne 1930 Famous Building. It was $1 million over budget by the time it was completed. The floor plan of the tower is actually L-shaped with the elevator shaft in the inside corner underneath the roof, a 10 floor wing also extends to the north. Top two floors had penthouse that owner lived in, although they are now rented as offices. Built by the Guinness family that also built the Lions Gate Bridge.
